A one-step guide to writing a bestseller
I was strolling through the lonely aisles of Barnes & Noble the other day when I came across a book titled Believe It to Achieve It, by Brian Tracy.
The idea sounded so simple. So encouraging. Almost too good to be true.
But now I’m home. And I still can’t get that super-happy-feel-good concept out of my head. “Believe and achieve.”
All you have to do is BELIEVE. That’s the technique.
You know what? I think I’ll give it a shot.
So here it goes…
I believe that one day, I’ll write a best-selling book on the topic of belief.
This book will be a wild success.
Readers won’t be able to get their hands on a copy because of the high demand. There won’t even be enough eBook copies to go around (and that’s virtually impossible!)
Instead, when they go into the bookstore, they’ll see a little sign that reads:
“Chris Cisneros’ book on backorder.”
And do you know what’s gonna be next to that sign? A very dusty, large stack of books —
all titled Believe It to Achieve It.
I believe I can achieve it. I really really do. On the other hand, Brian might not share
my enthusiasm. …Oh well.
Look out, world. I’m on my way to out-believing everyone. Yeah, that’s the ticket!
